Rover Campfire

"Campfire's burning, campfire's burning…" The campfire organized by the Sapphire Rover of our college began with the lighting ceremony officiated by our Vice- Principal, Mrs Tan Lay Hong.

Being a newly formed CCA group, "BOND", representing Brotherhood, Optimism, Navigation and Discipline, the qualities each Rover is expected to cultivate, was chosen as the theme for this years' campfire. Some of our colleges' own CCA groups and eleven other Scouts and Guide groups from different schools were invited to this event. The fun-filled event included items like the singing of campfire songs, games and enthralling performances put up by the other groups that were invited to the campfire. In spite of the occasional surprises, the emcees, exuding confidence, handled the situation very well. The whole event ended with the presentation of souvenirs to the participating groups.
