On 20th February 2002, the Jogathon was held in school.

The girls set off first, followed by the boys.
The winners were made known at the prize-giving ceremony. Aquila won the mass house competition. For the boys, the top three positions were Pegasus, Orion, and Acquila respectively. For the girls, Orion, Draco and Acquila were the winners. The overall house champion for the boys was Pegasus, and for the girls, it was Orion. Among the teachers, Madam Anion came in the first for the ladies. After the road race, Orion set up a booth selling cocktail drinks, to raise funds for the needy students of SRJC. The Art Club also set up a booth, offering to paint hands with henna for a small fee. The students were given half-hour break, which was followed by events such as a football match between teachers and students, a performance in the hall, and a debate between teachers and students in LT5. All these events were organized to raise funds. After the debate, there was a rap performance by four JC2 students and a Chinese song sung by four teachers. All the students were highly entertained by the day's performance.
